Week 1: The Reading Phase

Your only goal this week is to read the entire Discover Canada guide from start to finish. Do not try to memorise anything yet.

Daily Breakdown

  • Day 1: Chapters 1–2 (Oath + Rights and Responsibilities)
  • Day 2: Chapters 3–4 (Who We Are + History Part 1)
  • Day 3: Chapter 4 continued (History Part 2)
  • Day 4: Chapters 5–6 (Modern Canada + Government)
  • Day 5: Chapters 7–8 (Elections + Justice)
  • Day 6: Chapters 9–10 (Symbols + Regions)
  • Day 7: Rest day — let it sink in
  • Tips for Week 1

  • Read actively — highlight key facts and dates
  • Do not stress about remembering everything
  • Make note of chapters that feel confusing or dense
  • Week 2: Deep Study (Chapters 1–5)

    This week, you re-read chapters 1–5 more carefully and take a chapter practice test after each.
